This year I want to be bold, and I want to step out of my comfort zone. I’ll tell you what has been up on my mind lately, and I would love it if you’d do the same.
I am a reader who enjoys thrillers and mysteries, and last year most of the books I’ve been reading were from this genre. Well, not anymore. I am rolling my sleeves, and I’m digging into new genres I will explore this year. Let me give you my list.

- Mystery– The Night Swim by Megan Goldin.
- Sci-Fi– Riot Baby by Tochi Onyebuchi.
- Young Adult–The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
- New Adult– The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue.
- Classic– To Kill a Mockingbird.
Yup, this is my list; a book each month. I’m sure I will squeeze extra books in there as well. Will I cheat? Hmmm… maybe. If I do, though, I promise I’ll tell you.
